This picturesque village located very close to the capital was one of the most attractive places for painters in the late 19th century, but it has remained in everyone's memory as the place where Vincent Van Gogh lived his last months, intensely creating 80 works, until his death in one of the neighboring fields, at the age of only 37.
It is here that he created very important works, some of which are exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay. We will be able to visit the cathedral, the village, his room and even have lunch in the restaurant that continues to operate in the inn where he lived and died. Finally, we will end the visit in front of his tomb and that of his brother Théo.
