The first point concerns the magnificent gardens of Claude Monet. His house nestled in a small village is a feast for the eyes. The flowers, streams and the magnificent Japanese garden enchant visitors, who feel like they are in an impressionist painting.

Lunch in Rouen, where we will discover the city's cathedral, a jewel of French Gothic architecture and one of the largest in Europe; its beauty inspired Monet, who painted it many times. Nearby is also its monumental 14th-century astronomical clock, one of the oldest in France.

The city is famous for having been the prison of Joan of Arc. We will visit the tower and the place where she was imprisoned, as well as the Place du Vieux Marché where she was executed.
