My Tours & Guided Visits
The Louvre
A former fortress that became a royal palace and then a museum, the Louvre today houses one of the world's richest art collections, from Antiquity to the 19th century. Opened in 1793 during the Terror, it has continued to expand and transform.
The tour traces its evolution, from the medieval vestiges to the sumptuous renovated rooms.
You'll discover masterpieces such as the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the Venus de Milo, and paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, David, and Delacroix.
Between paintings, sculptures, and architecture, the Louvre offers a captivating journey through the centuries.
Versailles
Discover the splendor of the Palace of Versailles, the former residence of the kings of France, with its sparkling galleries and richly decorated apartments.
Then stroll through the Trianon estate, where the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon offer a glimpse into the private life of royalty.
Marvel at the vast French gardens, adorned with majestic fountains, elegant statues, and flowerbeds. Stroll along the green alleys, explore the hidden groves, and soak up the royal atmosphere of this iconic site.
The Musée d'Orsay
A former train station saved from destruction, the Musée d'Orsay houses a major collection of 19th-century art.
You'll discover the academic beauty of Bouguereau and Cabanel, contrasted with the modernity of Manet, Courbet, and Millet.
The tour highlights the rise of Impressionism with Monet, Renoir, and Degas.
The visit concludes with the Post-Impressionism of Gauguin, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Van Gogh.
Montmartre
Montmartre is one of the most picturesque districts of Paris, with its village atmosphere that seems timeless. During the tour, you'll discover the origin of its name, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, its vineyards, and its famous cabaret. Follow in the footsteps of bohemian artists such as Van Gogh, Picasso, and Utrillo.
Between unusual stories, windmills, gardens, and local legends, Montmartre reveals all the richness of its artistic and popular past.
Secret Paris
Paris, often called the "City of Lights," hides a dark side full of mysteries and legends. This tour evokes stories of murders, ghosts, and tragedies that have marked the capital, from the crimes of the Middle Ages to the French Revolution. You'll discover the tragic fate of Marie Antoinette, Louis XVI, and Charlotte Corday, as well as terrifying tales such as the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre. Between superstitions, apparitions, and cemetery secrets, this tour reveals the macabre and fascinating Paris that few know.
The Luxembourg Gardens and the Latin Quarter
Created by Queen Marie de Medici in the 17th century, the Luxembourg Gardens surround her sumptuous palace and are among the most beautiful places in Paris. The tour includes the exteriors of the Pantheon, the Saint-Étienne-du-Mont church, and the iconic locations of the series 'Emily in Paris'. You'll also discover the Sorbonne Chapel, a symbol of French classicism, and traces of the Gallo-Roman past of Lutèce. The tour ends at the Saint-Séverin church, a superb example of Gothic architecture and home to the oldest ossuary in the capital.
Paris in Music
This tour connects Paris and music through iconic places. It begins at the Madeleine Church, near the tomb of the famous Lady of the Camellias, muse of Alexandre Dumas fils' novel and Verdi's opera 'La Traviata'. Along the way, you'll discover the Olympia, a mecca of French song, and then the sumptuous Palais Garnier. The tour traces the history of opera from Louis XIV to this Parisian architectural masterpiece.
The gay Paris
Paris, a world center of arts and letters from the 18th to the 20th century, was also a refuge for the gay community, attracted by its free and cosmopolitan spirit. This 90-minute tour explores the lives of emblematic figures such as Sylvia Beach and her 'Shakespeare and Company' bookstore, as well as the royal loves of Henri III and Louis XIV's brother. It also evokes the destinies of Oscar Wilde, Proust, Rimbaud, Verlaine, and Colette. The tour ends in the Marais district, the heart of Parisian gay life.
Reims and the Épernay Cellars
This tour explores a little-known page of history with the Museum of the Surrender, where the German capitulation was signed on May 7, 1945, one day before the official end of World War II. The tour also includes the Porte de Mars, an impressive Roman triumphal arch, as well as Reims Cathedral, the traditional site of the coronation of the kings of France. The day ends with lunch and a visit to a cellar in Épernay.
The Loire Valley Castles
Visit the two emblematic castles of the Loire Valley: Chambord, the largest in the valley, a favorite of François I, which combines medieval and Renaissance styles with its famous staircase attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. Then Chenonceau, nicknamed the "ladies' castle," famous for its gardens and elegant arcade, a symbol of French architecture.
Giverny & Rouen
The visit begins with the magnificent gardens of Claude Monet, where flowers, streams, and a Japanese garden plunge visitors into an atmosphere worthy of an impressionist painting. After lunch in Rouen, discover the Gothic cathedral, Monet's inspiration, and its 14th-century astronomical clock. The city also evokes Joan of Arc, with a visit to her prison, the tower where she was imprisoned, and the Place du Vieux Marché where she was executed.
Mont Saint Michel
Mont-Saint-Michel is a rocky island located in Normandy, France, famous for its medieval abbey and spectacular landscapes. Surrounded by changing tides, it has been an important religious and tourist center since the Middle Ages. Its Gothic architecture and location make it a unique and iconic site.
Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte
The castle, a source of inspiration for Versailles, caused the disgrace of Nicolas Fouquet by arousing the king's jealousy. Great artists such as Le Vau, Le Brun, and Le Nôtre contributed to its splendor. Thanks to their talent, this place has become a jewel of 17th-century French classical architecture. It is among the most beautiful castles in Europe.
Auvers-sur-Oise
This village near the capital attracted painters at the end of the 19th century and is remembered for being where Vincent Van Gogh lived his last months. Van Gogh intensely created 80 works here, including some exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay, before dying at age 37. You can visit the cathedral, the village, his room, and the restaurant in the inn where he lived. The tour ends in front of the tombs of Van Gogh and his brother Théo.
The Château de Montecristo and Saint-Germain-en-Laye
This castle was the dream of Alexandre Dumas, reflecting his extravagance. Here you can admire the neo-Gothic architecture of his work pavilion and the museum that tells the story of his life. Afterward, you can have lunch in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, which houses a castle, gardens, and views of Paris.

Carlos is a wonderful tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable, fluent in French, Spanish, and English (at least), and has his PhD in French literature. We went on a tour of Montmartre and he told us many thoughtful stories of the area. It was a little cold and rainy (it was Paris in November, after all) but when you are with Carlos, it doesn’t matter! You will always have a delightful time. He will also take lots of beautiful photos of you!
